Piano hinges

Piano hinges are suitable for top-opening lids and allow 180-degree opening. The most common application for piano hinges is a surface that opens into a flush position. Piano hinges are sometimes also referred to as continuous hinges. They have very narrow leaves, and some of them can be cut to length for adjustment. They can be useful when working with thinner panels and also offer safety benefits, as there is no gap that could pinch fingers.
