Product area 24000 includes trapezoidal thread spindles, trapezoidal thread nuts, ball screw linear actuators, splined shafts, splined hubs, as well as pillow block bearings and other bearing units. The combination of trapezoidal thread spindles and nuts converts rotary movements into linear movements. It is used for fastening and clamping applications, but also for the precise movement of large weights. Ball screw linear actuators operate on the same principle, but offer reduced friction by using balls as rolling contacts, enhancing efficiency and precision. They are therefore suitable for higher speeds. Splined shafts and splined hubs are used for the transmission of large and varying torques. The harmonised geometry of the carriers (shaft) and grooves (hub) forms a positive connection between the components. Various pillow block bearings and bearing units complete the range.
