Due to their versatility, they are utilized across all areas of industry. Rubber buffers, damping plates, and profile dampers are made from elastic materials such as rubber or cellular polyurethane and serve as damping components to reduce vibrations, shocks, and oscillations in various machines and systems. Gas springs and shock absorbers slow down or dampen movements, making them ideal for use in opening and closing mechanisms, as well as in turning and swivelling processes – commonly seen in automation.
