Rod ends
A rod end, sometimes called a spherical bearing or rod-end eye, is a component used in mechanical systems to create a flexible connection between two parts. They consist of a rod end with the integrated spherical bearing and the threaded part with an external or internal thread. Rod ends are mainly used as connecting elements between cylinder and fittings in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Maintenance-free rod ends can also be used reliably in vehicle construction. Snap-in pins and pins with grooves are suitable for DIN 71752 clevises.
