Rest pads, locating pins
Both components serve to optimize the positioning of workpieces and facilitate the assembly process.
Support pins are used as supports for workpieces and fixtures. Their advantage lies in the ability to arrange the workpiece in a point-based configuration.
Locating feet, on the other hand, are used to position machine components in holes and on workpieces. Locating feet according to DIN 6321 are used to fix parts that need to be positioned in a single direction. The flattened version of the locating feet according to DIN 6321 is particularly useful for compensating for tolerance in distances between multiple holes.
In addition to the standard versions of support pins and locating feet, norelem’s range of standard parts also includes products such as threaded support pins, positioning pins, and locating bushings for use with locating feet.
