Threaded inserts
Threaded inserts are used to create a thread for screws or to repair damaged threads. They are also often referred to as thread bushings. These inserts are used in cases where standard threads do not provide sufficient holding strength, or when threads are damaged and need repair. Threaded inserts increase the durability and strength of threads in softer or weaker materials and are therefore widely used across various industries.
In our range, you will find several types of threaded inserts made of zinc-plated or stainless steel. The inserts are installed into a pre-drilled hole or thread, and once mounted, they provide a strong and reliable thread that securely holds screws even under vibration.
If you need to install an insert into a hole, we recommend self-tapping threaded inserts with a cutting slot \[PRODUCT id=23520] or with cutting holes \[PRODUCT id=23519]. If you cut a larger thread in advance, we recommend using standard threaded inserts \[PRODUCT id=23513].
