Clamping, clamping and eccentric levers

The possibilities of clamping levers are as wide as the diverse situations in which they are used. KIPP clamping levers consist of an operating handle that contains an insert with an internal or external thread.

These levers are available in different versions as required, with various thread dimensions and handle sizes. Materials used in their manufacture include steel, stainless steel, zinc die-cast and reinforced plastic for the plastic die-cast version. Many models of clamping levers are available in different colours such as black, red, orange or metallic silver.

The operating principle of clamping levers is simple: by lifting the operating handle, the lever is released from the toothing and becomes freely adjustable. Once the handle is released, the lever automatically re-engages. The lever can then be operated manually for tightening, releasing or repositioning a machine element. These levers are primarily used for clamping or positioning on machines.

Other areas of application include jig construction, such as the quick fastening of mounting plates, or toolmaking, where KIPP levers are used to fix components. They are also useful in profile assembly.

In addition to clamping levers, KIPP also offers quick release fasteners and clamping levers as further clamping elements.
