Rubber silent blocks, rubber buffers

Silent blocks and rubber buffers

Absorption elements such as rubber-metal buffers or silent blocks absorb the kinetic energy of assemblies or structural units. Steel or stainless-steel ends ensure optimal mounting of these buffers.

Rubber-metal buffers are commonly used in mechanical engineering, aggregate construction, special machinery, and transport. They are widely applied as mounting elements for aggregates and as stops to limit the movement of suspended masses. They are ideal as vibration dampers for engines, compressors, pumps, and test equipment, or as bumpers for support systems.

Rubber buffers are available in various versions with different hardness levels according to the Shore scale. We mainly offer versions combining a rubber buffer (natural rubber) with a metal end (steel or stainless steel). Different types are designed for different applications. Rubber buffers, for example, provide impact damping and elastic movement limitation. Elements with studs reduce rubber stress under extreme deflection.

Rubber buffers are available in different shapes, such as cylindrical buffers, conical buffers, buffers with threaded inserts, and in various thread dimensions—for example, buffer M8, buffer M6, conical buffer, or door buffer.
