Below you will find answers to the questions we are most frequently asked.
How can I place an order?
Please place your order by email at info@marek.eu or in person at our company headquarters in Brno, Maříkova 32.
To process your order, we need to know:
- Company ID and VAT ID,
- Delivery address if different from the billing address,
- Phone contact for our contracted carrier.
Do you also sell to private individuals and do they need to be registered?
Yes, we also sell to private individuals. Registration is not required to accept an order. It is necessary to provide contact details, including a phone number; without this information we cannot process the order and deliver the goods. For personal pickup by private individuals, provided they order in person at our premises, a phone number is sufficient.
Do you have a minimum order value or minimum order quantity?
We do not have any minimum order value set.
Although some manufacturers may have minimum order quantities (MOQ) for certain product groups, this generally does not apply with us. We are able to supply the quantity you need.
Only in exceptional cases is it necessary to adhere to an MOQ. We always inform our customers of this in advance.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Quantity discounts are possible based on a specific inquiry or project. The basic unit prices (per piece, meter) are listed on our website. Pricing policy varies by manufacturer, so for larger quantities (sometimes already from 10 pcs) we recommend requesting a quote.
How can the goods be paid for?
For first-time business transactions, we prefer payment in advance. You can choose either cash-on-delivery or pro forma invoice.
Our regular customers pay by bank transfer with a minimum 14-day due date.
For personal pickups at Maříkova 32, 621 00 Brno, payment in cash is possible.
Do you accept card payments?
Card payment is possible in the e-shop and via the terminal at our reception.
Who is your contracted carrier and how long does delivery take?
Our contracted carrier is General Logistics Systems Czech Republic s.r.o. (GLS). The carrier guarantees delivery within the Czech Republic within 24 hours and to Slovakia within 48 hours from package pickup.
What is the shipping cost?

Do you deliver goods to Slovakia as well?
Yes, our company delivers all products to Slovakia through our contracted carrier GLS.

Do you have any branches within the Czech Republic and Slovakia?
You can visit us at our headquarters – Maříkova 32, 621 00 Brno. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia we generally only ship goods, with the vast majority of deliveries handled by our contracted carrier GLS.
Do you keep goods in stock?
We keep a certain percentage of products in stock in Brno that our regular customers purchase. Other components are ordered on an ongoing basis only after receiving confirmed orders directly from manufacturers.
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times are influenced by the following factors:
- current stock levels of individual manufacturers
- production time of the product
- timing of the order
We collect goods from each of our suppliers at least once a week. After receiving and checking the delivery in our warehouse, the goods are sorted according to orders, packed, and dispatched.
Is it possible to shorten the stated delivery time?
Yes, the stated delivery time can be shortened. If the goods are in stock with our European suppliers, we can have them sent directly to you. In such cases, we will charge you for express shipping costs. In most cases, however, it is necessary to inform us of this requirement in advance, ideally when placing the order.
If I have a question about my order, whom can I contact?
Once your order is entered into our IT system, a confirmation of its receipt is automatically sent to you by email from the sales administration colleague who processed your order. You can contact them with questions regarding the ordered quantity, delivery time, change of customer address, or delivery address, etc.
How should I proceed if I receive damaged goods or if items are missing from the shipment?
In these cases, please contact either the sales administration staff listed on the documents (delivery note, invoice) included with the shipment, or send an email to info@marek.eu describing the problem and referencing the delivery note number. The responsible person will contact you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
If our carrier delivers a damaged package, it is necessary to handle the situation immediately, either by refusing the package with a note that it is damaged or by accepting it with reservation. We recommend always taking photo documentation. Then proceed as described above.
What warranty is provided for the goods?
A 6-month warranty covers quality defects, and a 24-month warranty is provided for material defects.
Can I cancel an order?
An order cannot be cancelled once confirmed. If the goods have already been confirmed by the manufacturer and production has started, or if they are already on the way from the manufacturer to us, a cancellation fee of 10–20 % of the total value of the cancelled goods may be charged.
