EC – Damping Hinges

Southco hinges with soft closing allow lids to move smoothly into the closed position without the need for manual closure. Users simply initiate closing and can then walk away, knowing that the lid or door will close safely by itself. These damping hinges can be combined with E6 constant torque hinges to accommodate larger or heavier lids and doors. This combination allows them to remain open and then close gently once closing is initiated.
