In the beginning, there was a vision
MAREK Industrial a.s. is a strong player in the industrial components market with more than three decades of growth and development. Our journey began in 1992, when founder Jiří Marek, under the name MAREK Trading, entered the market with a clear vision – to represent leading manufacturers and provide industrial companies with products of the highest quality. Even then, the solid foundations for future success were laid: expertise, reliability, and the ability to bring innovation.
Transformation and development
The year 1995 brought a name change to MAREK – Industrial Components, which further defined our direction and specialization. Another milestone came in 2004, when we transformed into a joint-stock company and adopted our current name MAREK Industrial a.s.. With this step, we not only strengthened our market position but also reinforced business relationships and opened the door to further growth.
Partnerships with industry leaders
As early as 1992, we established a partnership with the prestigious caster and wheel manufacturer Blickle. This cooperation enabled us to bring high-quality solutions to the Czech market and expand our range. With growth and portfolio diversification, in 2000 we founded a separate company Blickle, a.s. so that both entities could focus even more effectively on their respective areas and customers.
Modernization and expansion
The continuously growing volume of business activities required a change of headquarters. The original premises on Merhautova Street in Brno–Černá Pole were no longer sufficient, and so in 2002 we moved our headquarters to a modern facility in Brno–Řečkovice. This step provided us not only with greater warehouse capacity and better administrative facilities, but also with space for the development of production activities.
Own production
Thanks to new opportunities, we expanded our activities beyond distribution of industrial components to include our own production. Our portfolio includes aluminium modular systems, safety fencing for production lines, workbenches, conveyors, and custom-made machines. We continually seek new solutions and approaches that help our customers simplify and speed up production processes while ensuring workplace safety.
Family Business
After more than three decades of leading the company, founder Jiří Marek has passed the management into the hands of his daughter. The company thus continues in the spirit of a family tradition, with new energy and the vision of the next generation. Jiří Marek remains present as a mentor and support behind the scenes, while also enjoying more time for travel and well-deserved rest. Thanks to this combination of experience and fresh enthusiasm, MAREK Industrial maintains its stability and confidence for the future.
Strengthening strategic partnerships
In 2022, we strengthened our position through a strategic partnership with OLYMP-KOV, spol. s r.o., a specialist in stainless steel processing. Together we provide comprehensive production – from sheet metal shearing, laser cutting, bending, and welding to final assembly.
