Locking pins | securing pins
With a locking pin with balls, structural parts, workpieces, and other machine components can be joined or secured. The locking pin with balls features a practical ball-locking mechanism. When the spring mechanism inside the pin is activated by pressing the button, the ball locking releases (the ball retracts inward). When the button is released, the ball locking engages again (the ball extends outward). This ensures stable and self-locking retention. In practice, this allows connections to be joined and released quickly and easily.
Locking pins with balls are available in various designs upon request. Handles can be manufactured in a T-shape or L-shape. The button is either made of zinc or thermoplastic. For special applications, „locking pins“(https://www.marek.eu/…jistici.html) with balls are also available in „corrosion-resistant stainless steel“(https://www.marek.eu/…jistici.html). In industries with high hygiene requirements—such as food processing or environments with aggressive substances—fully stainless-steel locking pins with balls are used.
